2005.10-present:
As a manager of the personal project ¡°MAC
Protocol Design for MIMO Mesh Network¡± of USTC
innovation foundation for graduate students 2005, My main
work is as follows:

I researched into MIMO Mesh network. Based on MAC protocol,
a high capacity, balanced, multi-hop MIMO MAC is expected. A
new prototype of 9Square has been proposed, in which each
mesh router is equipped with MIMO antenna and supported by
multiple channels. I finished the extension for ns2-2.29 for
this prototype.

Investigated routing protocol design
for multi-radio wireless mesh network, analyzed the
influence of link interference to the wireless network. A
MR-MC(multi-radio and multi-channel) routing metric(SMETT)
is proposed.

2005.8-present:
As the main member of the project ¡°Voice over Wireless
Local Area Network¡± of Cisco Educational Foundation
2005, I completed VoIP software to evaluate the effect of
Voice over WLAN QoS infrastructure. The software implemented
a simplified RTP (supporting one-to-one talking only);
Supporting IPv4/v6, Voice active detective, G.711 and G.729a
codec; Extracts QoS parameters from RTCP packets and display
them in GUI.

2003.9-2005.8:
Work as
a member of the project ¡°Key
Techniques of Mobile IPv6 network¡±. It is a national 863
program. Main works in the project: As my thesis work, I
cross-compiled the software Nicphone_V6, and implemented to
port it to a Zaurus running Linux.
